Destiny 2 has had its fair share of mysteries throughout the lifespan of the game. One of the more popular ones in recent history is the Corridors of Time. A giant labyrinth that challenged the players to escape by using a series of symbols attached to different hallways. Hidden deep in the depths of this puzzle was a special item that triggered a new quest called Momento. Once completed, players are rewarded with a brand new Exotic Fusion Rifle named Bastion.
As of right now, players still need to complete the Corridors of Time to access the Momento quest. The solution is simple to do as long as you know the correct symbols. Since the mystery was solved, Bungie is letting players access the Moment quest without completing the Corridors starting next week during the reset. If you just can’t wait till next week to get Bastion, here’s a quick list of the symbols in order to complete the Corridors of Time.
Clover - Diamond - Snake - Clover - Plus - Plus - Hex - Hex - Hex - Plus - Diamond - Plus - Snake - Diamond - Clover - Snake - Plus - Plus - Snake - Snake - Hex - Diamond - Clover - Plus - Diamond - Hex - Hex - Diamond - Plus - Diamond
It looks like a lot of work but it’s simple as long as you know where you’re heading. After you reach the end, you’ll receive an item that will unlock the Momento quest from Saint-14.
Get Momento Quest From Saint-14 in Destiny 2
The first thing players need to do is head over to Saint-14 and accept the quest Momento. After the quest is accepted, he will have you acquire five Fallen intel from Fallen Captains and Servitors. This can be done by heading to Thieves’ Landing on the Tangled Shore.
Travel over to the Hallowed Lair Strike and head down the path where the group of enemies awaits. A Fallen Captain will always spawn here. Once defeated, run out of Thieves’ Landing and back in to respawn the Captain. Rinse and repeat until you have five pieces of intel.
Speak with Spider in Destiny 2
Once the player has the five intel pieces they need to head over and speak with Spider. Spider will send the player to the Empty Tank Lost Sector in Thieve’s Landing to kill an enemy called Aksiniks, Bound by Honor.
Head to the Empty Tank Sector and Aksiniks will spawn, ripe for the killing. Once completed, head back and talk to Spider once more.
A Strong Arm Quest in Destiny 2
This section of the Momento quest is the biggest grind. It will require players to complete a large amount of Public Events, kills, and bounties. This required list is below.
- Complete 8 Public Events. Kill 30 challenging enemies. Complete 10 Spider bounties.
One good tip to remember is that challenging enemies will spawn throughout Public Events, (they are denoted by a yellow health bar) so a player can kill two birds with one stone.
Reysk, the Waning Light in Destiny 2
Once that section is finished, the final step will be to head to the Four-Horn Gulch in the Tangled Shore and enter the lost sector, Trapper’s Cave. The player will need to find a grave located by the base of the waterfall inside of Trapper’s Cave. The grave itself is a little blue mist emanating from the ground. Just interact with it and continue on to the final step, killing Reysk, the Waning Light.
Reysk is a boss inside of a special version of the Hallowed Lair strike. It can be found in the Tangled Shore director screen and is matchmade. This is basically the same as the standard Hallowed Lair strike except the during the end boss fight, Reysk, The Waning Light will spawn. Be sure to kill Reysk before you finish the strike or you’ll have to start all over.
After defeated, head back over to Saint-14 and get your reward, the Exotic Fusion Rifle, Basion.
Bastion Fusion Rifle Perks in Destiny 2
Bastion is a decent powerhouse of a Fusion Rifle and takes over the primary slot. It features the standard perks Hammer-Forged Rifling, Composite Stock, and Liquid coils alongside the trait perks, Saint’s Fists and Breakthrough. Saint’s Fist allows the player to charge and fire three spreads of Kinetic slugs, while Breakthrough allows some of the damage to bypass elemental shields.
Overall, Bastion is a solid rifle. It’s not a game-changer whatsoever but still holds up as a strong addition to any player’s arsenal.
