Before moving on with our PocoPhone F1 waterproof test, let’s get to know some of its specifications. Since it a flagship device, it comes with impressive specifications out of the box. PocoPhne F1 comes with a beautiful 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 1080 by 2246 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core processor and coupled with 6GB of RAM which makes it a complete powerhouse. PocoPhone F1 is housing a 4000mAh battery which is supposed to last for 1 full day of heavy usage. Talking about the camera department, it is rocking a 12MP primary camera with a dual camera setup and 5MP selfie camera with dual LED flash. According to the official site, there are no specifications for the waterproofing of this device. No IP68 ratings, no splashproof ratings. So in order to find out, we need to perform PococPhone F1 waterproof test.
PocoPhone F1 Splash Proof Test
In Splash proof test, we will test the device to withstand an accidental water splash. This will tell us whether the device survives in such condition. So when we subject PocoPhone F1 to artificial water splash, the device seems to work fine.
PocoPhone F1 Rainwater test
In this test, we are going to suspend the device in artificial rain environment. This also mimics the showering conditions as well.

After testing the PocoPhone F1 in artificial rain condition, we observed that the device does not show any signs of damage. However, the screen becomes unresponsive to touches. So users may not use this device in the shower for calling or other purposes.

In this test, we will keep the device in a sandy environment with lots of grain and sand particles with a running fan around it. This situation mimics dust storms and will check how the device holds in such conditions.
Final Results
After performing multiple tests which include exposure to water and dust, we came to a conclusion that PocoPhone F1 is a waterproof device. However there no official IP68 ratings for the device, but according to our test, it still holds good in under water situations.
