AMC’s new anthology series Dispatches from Elsewhere has a cast of quirky characters that includes legends like Sally Field and André Benjamin (a.k.a. André 3000). Created for television by Jason Segel, the show is based on the 2013 alternative reality-themed documentary The Institute.

Dispatches from Elsewhere season 1 follows numerous individuals whom are recruited by the clandestine Jejune Institute. They play a fascinating game - one that could provide them with meaning, or perhaps be part of dangerous conspiracy. With the charismatic Octavio Coleman running the show, the competitors learn more about themselves while spotting oddities as the game intensifies. Dispatches from Elsewhere season 1 features music by Atticus Ross (Watchmen).
