The Division 2 specializations and signature weapons are an integral part of the sequel’s endgame content, which are unlocked at Level 30. Upon hitting max level and completing the final stronghold, The Division 2’s endgame content unlocks and opens up a whole new world for players. Part of that means choosing a specialization class to play as from there on out.
The three specialization classes in The Division 2 are Sharpshooter, Demolitionist, and Survivalist. As the name suggests, the Sharpshooter specialization class provides support and takes out enemies from long distances. The Demolitionist specialization class can act like a tank in more ways than one, including being able to cause significant amounts of explosive damage. Lastly, the Survivalist specialization class is the most all-around fighter in the game but is also unique in certain ways.
Each specialization class in The Division 2 comes with their own signature weapon as well as a set of perks and modifiers for their characters and weapons. Here’s a list of all of those in The Division 2 (via The Division Zone):

For instance, if someone chooses Sharpshooter but wants to be in the heat of the fight, they can do so by selecting a different weapon. But it’s always best to play with a group that has a variety of specializations.
