Women are at risk of missing out on the next wave of “good jobs” in technology, according to LinkedIn co-founder Allen Blue. As newer technologies have become increasingly important, they have opened doors to many new jobs. However, some also fear they are closing many job doors as well. Blue made the claims during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The suggestion is not quite that there is a shortage of qualified women for jobs in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and crypto, but more so that men have greater access to these jobs due to their network and support structures....

After a disastrous reception, Bungie is changing course on a key system in Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris: Artifact levels will no longer affect the PVP gameplay. Players joining Trials will find their power unaffected by any Artifact abilities. This is a sharp reversal of the plans previously announced for the game mode. Trials of Osiris was a popular PVP mode from Destiny 1 which pitted three-player teams against each other in a battle of skill, with the most powerful weapons the teams could find....

The latest survey from a respected research firm has Android as the #1 smartphone platform in the US for the month of March. Nielsen reported this morning that Android tops the charts as the country’s leading smartphone platform with a 27.9 percent market share measured by units, followed by the iOS platform which grabbed 27 percent market share. Research In Motion’s BlackBerry came in third with 22 percent of the market....

The developers over at Applidium are claiming they have cracked Siri’s security protocol, which could enable the speech recognition technology on any device. The possibilities of devices range from iPhone 4, to iPad, to Mac, to even Android. Last month we showed you Siri running on an iPhone 4 (seen above), but today the possibilities look beyond that. With the crack, developers could even work to implement Siri inside of their own apps....

Disney is not toying around when it comes to competing in the streaming market, as Disney+ will launch with over 300 movies, as well as over 7,000 television episodes.
