Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Doctor Who season 12. The Doctor Who season 12 finale has finally explained the mystery of the Timeless Child. The Timeless Child was first mentioned in Doctor Who season 11, episode 2, when the Doctor was subjected to a psychic probe by a race known as the Remnants. “We see… further back,” the Remnants whispered. “The Timeless Child… we see what’s hidden, even from yourself. The outcast, abandoned and unknown…” These words were unexplained at the time, but they left the Doctor shaken to the core....

Over the past few months I’ve been fairly quiet about the last several updates from Google. If you’ve not been keeping up, back in April Google released a fairly large update to their search algorithm where, among other things, they started applying feedback from consumers into their search results. Overall it was good news for those using Google as it was a strong attempt by Google to weed out content and spam farms from the search results....

The recent major update by Apple, the iOS version 14.0, introduces vital changes and new customization features to their devices. Apple’s approach to giving more control to its users over the device’s home screen looks went off pretty well and it’s an ever trending matter all over the internet and all over the world. Although the new changes that Apple came up with are pretty amazing, there are worldwide concerns that are being raised by the users....

According to a press release by Mozilla, the manufacturers that will build the first smartphones featuring the new OS are ZTE — the company building affordable Android tablets, and TCL Communication Technology (using the Alcatel One Touch brand). Only these two manufacturers are mentioned, other manufacturers may jump on board if things go in the right direction. The devices will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors and will be available in Brazil through Telefonica’s brand, Vivo....

The official Disney YouTube channel released a video with the best Disney references in The Simpsons. In 2019, Disney bought 21st Century Fox, acquiring the rights of the iconic animated series. All the 30 seasons of The Simpsons have been exclusively available on Disney+ since the launch of the streaming platform. The acquisition, however, sparked some controversies among fans. Disney+ chose to display the show only in the most recent 16:9 ratio, rather than the original 4:3 format....

Disney+ has found a way to let its subscribers know that Disney isn’t to blame for some of its missing movies, but this doesn’t explain the absence of several other major movies from its catalog. Though some may be added at a later date, Disney+’s launch lineup has quite a few notable exclusions - ranging from Star Wars to Marvel, and more. The new streaming platform finally launched after more than a year of anticipation....

The streaming service will notably provide access to Disney content that hasn’t been readily available. The Disney+ Twitter account tweeted the names of every piece of content Disney+ has to offer a couple of weeks ago, and many fans were excited to see rare movies and television they haven’t been able to watch in years all be available in one place. While Disney+ is set to become a streaming giant, the service will be losing a few of its key players in a couple of years....

Disney+ also plans to compete with its price point. The subscription service will only cost $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. The company will also offer a bundle of Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ for $12.99 per month. Furthermore, Disney recently offered a promotion to D23 members that would allow them to subscribe for three years in advance for around $140, which comes to about $4 per month. Disney+ is set to launch on November 12 in the United States and roll out internationally in the following months....

In this modern age, like every other streaming service, Disney has its own service too. Disney Plus is available for Android and iOS devices, however, you can also access the Disney Plus website and can stream there. Like most streaming services, Disney Plus has subscription-based plans too. In order to stream Disney Plus content, firstly, you will have to pay and buy a subscription plan. However, what if you don’t want to buy anything, but you still want to check out Disney Plus content....

As the name suggests, the Nintendo Switch Lite is the lighter version of the standard Nintendo Switch gaming console. It basically plays the games of the Nintendo Switch games. But in terms of the gaming perspective, the Lite version doesn’t stand out well. If that isn’t already troubling, more audio is recorded with the addition of Follow-up Mode for Alexa. The idea behind Follow-up Mode is it allows you to give Alexa a series of commands without speaking the wake word each time. So, after the first command has been completed, Alexa continues to listen for another one. But while it’s waiting, it’s also recording all audio happening within earshot. I experimented with Follow-up Mode enabled....

The internet’s newest streaming service is almost here. Disney+ is set to debut on Nov. 12, giving fans a giant selection of movies and TV shows created by Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and of course, Disney. Even though the catalog is huge, we couldn’t help but notice that a few of Disney’s animated movies won’t be appearing on day one, and that’s what we’re here to look at now....

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disneyland Paris is getting an upgrade and will soon have three new stories and random drop sequences. The Tower of Terror, which takes inspiration from Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone, is one of Disney Parks’ most iconic e-ticket rides and has even spawned one movie and discussions about another one. The heavily themed ride takes guests inside the Hollywood Tower Hotel, where they enter an elevator that takes them up to a ghostly dimension before dropping them into a hair-raising downward plummet....

The Division 2 specializations and signature weapons are an integral part of the sequel’s endgame content, which are unlocked at Level 30. Upon hitting max level and completing the final stronghold, The Division 2’s endgame content unlocks and opens up a whole new world for players. Part of that means choosing a specialization class to play as from there on out. The three specialization classes in The Division 2 are Sharpshooter, Demolitionist, and Survivalist....

The Star Wars community is still reeling from the death of Carrie Fisher, who reprises her role as General Leia Organa in this year’s Star Wars: Episode VIII. Shortly after Fisher’s passing, it was revealed that the actress had filmed all of her scenes for the sequel, and Leia was set to have a larger role. Ever since Fisher died, one of the largest questions on fans’ minds is how Disney and Lucasfilm plan to resolve Leia’s arc in the sequel trilogy, and Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow scheduled a meeting with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy to discuss that matter....

Going with a shared cinematic universe approach has arguably been one of the best ideas to come out of Hollywood in the last decade. Marvel Studios, of course, kicked it all off with a post-credits scene in 2008’s Iron Man, where Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) turned up in Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) mansion to say, “You think you’re the only superhero in the world? Mr. Stark, you’ve become part of a bigger universe....
