Discover has announced its cashback calendar for 2021, and it includes the notable addition of Apple Music and Apple TV+. Though Disney has been successful throughout its existence, the 2010s saw the company reaching new heights both commercially and critically. It may seem a world away, but it hasn’t been that long since Marvel proved they could make any property a hit as Doctor Strange won over critics and audiences alike. In fact, the movie just bowed out of theaters last week, ending its theatrical run with a global box office total of $675 million. That places the film in the top 100 earners of all time, and ensures Doctor Strange will be getting a sequel (which Scott Derrickson may return to direct)....

Director Scott Derrickson made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut helming Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular character. This was, arguably, the first magical character to enter the MCU and had a lot of responsibility to teach the audience about a different corner of the Marvel mythology than they were used to seeing with the Avengers characters. While it’s not yet clear if Derrickson will be back behind the camera for Doctor Strange 2, many fans would like nothing more than to let him continue building out the mythos that he has already started to develop....

Dexter’s success on Showtime was heavily due in part to the critically acclaimed novel released two years before, titled Darkly Dreaming Dexter. Jeff Lindsay’s novel had a very similar story to the first season of Dexter and inspired the show to become one of the best-received shows to date by audiences. After the first book though, the show deviates heavily, offering radically different story components at times. Disney and the Jim Henson Company will work together on Earth to Ned, an unscripted talk show-style comedy series for Disney+. Earth to Ned will star extraterrestrial creations from the Jim Henson company; the alien puppets will interview celebrity guests for the streaming platform. Disney+ officially launches November 12, but Earth To Ned won’t premiere until some time in 2020. When Earth to Ned makes its debut, it won’t be the only unscripted series on Disney+....

The Doctor has been traveling through time and space now for almost 60 years, which is quite an impressive accomplishment in of itself. During that time, they have met literally hundreds of people, some of whom have even joined the Doctor in traveling in the TARDIS. It should come as no surprise then that Doctor Who has featured its fair share of relationships. When a classic piece of media is rebooted, fans will always find themselves divided on whether the original or the reboot was the better one. Many fans are loyal to the original and swear off the reboot entirely. Some fans connect better with the reboot. And some people are simply happy for more content and enjoy both versions for different reasons. Though many people have rather negative opinions about the first series of the Doctor Who reboot (which we completely and utterly love,) it did reignite the classic show and bring a whole new generation to the fandom....
